You Are Welcome Here
What to expect...
If you are looking for a place where you are loved and accepted for who you are; If you need someone to talk to without judgement; If you want to help others in need; If you want to learn more about God’s love … This is the place for you. The United Church of Christ believes God calls the Church to speak truth to power, liberate the oppressed, care for the poor, comfort the afflicted, and be good stewards of the earth.
Everyone is invited to participate in Holy Communion offered on the first Sunday of every month. Children of all ages are invited to participate.

Children begin the morning in the sanctuary with their families and, after the Children's Message, go with their teacher to Sunday School. If they prefer, they may stay in the sanctuary for the service. Infants and toddlers can have fun in the nursery with one of our volunteers.

We ask everyone to wear a nametag so we can call each other by name. If you don't have a nametag, please see the deacons. If you are visiting for the first time, please sign the guest book in the back of the Church. Please include your phone number and street address if you would like a visit from our Welcome Team.

We welcome new members from all faith traditions. The Church is accessible (reserved parking for disabled access next to the Church and ramp at rear door) and provides audio amplification equipment for the hearing impaired.
How to find us
We're on Route 1 in Hancock, ME. Parking is across the street, or next to the church for those with a Handicap tag. For more detailed directions, click the map here.
Sunday School & Nursery
We have a nursery staffed by volunteers for infants and toddlers. We offer Sunday School for school-aged children during the service. Check the Christian Education page for more information.
