Donations for Comfort Cases will be collected this Sunday, August 20. Also, we are looking for a few people willing to spend a couple of hours helping pack Comfort Cases backpacks with needed items for new foster children. See Jeanne Edwards, and attached flyer for more information.

Starting September 10th we will return to our 10:00 am worship service time.

The church potluck picnic will be held at 4:00 pm this Sunday, August 20 at Tidal Falls. Please plan to attend and bring your family and friends, and a dish to share!

Our meetings are open to all. If you would like to attend a meeting, please let Vicky know and she will provide the Zoom link, or you are welcome to attend in person.

Outreach will meet Thursday, August 17 at 4:00 pm

Curtis and Helen Beach’s youngest daughter, Ruth Anne Beach passed away in early July. Her memorial service is planned at the Blue Hill Congregational Church August 19 @ 11 a.m.

There will be a service of installation for the Reverend Vicki L. Reeser as Pastor and Teacher at the Somesville Union Meeting House, UCC 1134 Main Street, Mount Desert,

Sunday, August 20 at 3:00 PM. In-person and on Zoom. Reception to follow.

Clergy are invited to wear stoles (red) and process. Please gather in the Parish Hall by 2:45 pm.
