Silent Prayer

God of delight, God of celebration, God of good news of great joy for all people – help us  to lift our voices in song. Even among the shadows of sorrow and despair, help us rejoice in what you have done and what you will do. With Mary and with Hannah, let us sing of how you lift up the lowly, scatter the proud, and fill the hungry with good things. Come, Jesus, come! Amen

Prayers of the People – Sharing Joys & Concerns

Our Father (Creator, Mother) who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,

thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen

   Lead me Lord, lead me in thy righteousness, make thy way plain before my face.

   For it is thou Lord, thou Lord, only, that makest me dwell in safety.

Joy to the world! the Lord is come: let earth receive her King;

let every heart prepare him room, and heaven and nature sing,and heaven and nature sing, and heaven, and heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the world! the Savior reigns: let earth her songs employ;let fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains repeat the sounding joy,

repeat the sounding joy, repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
