TJ has been active in the United Church of Christ in Maine since 2002, serving in various lay positions, and as an Associate Pastor from 2014 to 2017. Her personal call to serve as a minister began in 2010 which led her to attend Bangor Theological Seminary from 2010 to 2013, achieving a Master of Arts in Theology. She continued her theological education through independent studies and course work at Boston College, the Maine School of Ministry, and Andover Newton Theological School, to achieve a Master of Divinity credential. Ordained in September 2019, TJ began as Settled Minister in Hancock

in October 2019.
